Lip Enhancement
Many people desire more fullness of the lips. Whether the lips are relatively narrow or have become less full with aging, lip enhancement can provide a natural-looking improvement. It can also help minimize the lines that form around the lips with aging (often called “smoker’s lines”).
Fullness is accomplished by injecting a filler known as hyaluronic acid (such as Restylane or Juvéderm), a naturally occurring sugar compound that already exists in the body. The new volume is soft and feels quite natural. Results generally last approximately nine months. Fat Transfer can also be used to enhance the lips.
